Can 9.3 million viewers be wrong? That’s how many people tuned in to Monday night’s airing of “The Bachelor.” Talk about people having nothing better to do. 9.3 million is not a number to laugh at. Apparently there really are millions of people willing to give up their time to figure out whether Michelle Money is acting or truly is interested in Brad. It also shows how gripping Emily’s personal story is. Or how insane these ladies are and how much fun it is to watch them self-destruct. But most of all, it proves that ABC has done its job in proving Brad’s worthiness as a second time around Bachelor.
Not suprisingly, The Bachelor dominated its tiem slot and stood as Monday’s No. 1 program across all key women demographics. Monday’s show was its most-watched telecast this season (which means the number of viewers for this season is actually growing). More and more people are signing up to give up their Monday nights. Brain cells are disappearing globally.
The Bachelor beat out “Home Edition,” “Modern Family,” “Castle and “Wipeout.” I’d say “Modern Family,” is probably the only real surprise. I thought the popularity of that show has grown in leaps and bounds, particularly since it has been nominated for so many awards this season. But no, people prefer to watch Brad woo 30 women instead.
Of note, more people watch The Bachelor than the live simulcast of the SAG awards which aired on both TBS and TNT. Only 5 million viewers watched the SAG awards.

Stacey, I have said it before, and it is worth saying again, "This is the best all-time show on TV."
Of course your blogs and now your video, make all the craziness last longer.
Too bad the show isn't 4 hours long.

There is only so much you can do to keep members. After awhile you reach the point of diminishing returns by trying to renew retired members or those who have left the field.
