My blog post is coming…will be posted Tuesday evening as usual. I am off to bed for a 6AM wake-up, but have to say this was definitely my favorite episode of the season. So much to write about – so little time!
Speak to you all soon and looking forward to your thoughts!

i'll comment more tomorrow, but i have to make the first comment tonight and say: OH, THAT DANCE, THAT DANCE TENLEY PERFORMED. Oh, man…One of the funniest, oddest Bachelor moments ever. Hahahahaha!

And I thought last week's was the best show ever on television.
Waiting anxiously Stacey to read your blog.
I hope when this program ends you decide to follow another show.

Ali seemed very sincere in her feelings for Jake.
Jake's reaction to her venting her feelings seemed very odd? His tears did not look real, Ali's did, and his eyes had a blank look? As mean as she has been, actually felt sorry for her tonight. Jake is pretty robotic; goes through the motions for the camera.

I was so bummed that Ali left the show last night. And I wanted to kick Jake for not telling her how he felt & that he wanted her to be there. IMHO, when a girl wants to know whether to stay or go, "whatever you decide is fine" sounds like the kiss of death.
My burning question is, if Ali "wasn't in jeopardy tonight", who was he going to let go instead? My guess is Tenley.
And speaking of Tenley, she clearly has not finished working through her divorce issues. Although Tenley is a beautiful dancer, the interpretive dance was somewhat surreal and hilarious. Jake looked like a deer in headlights!
Ready for your blog tonite, Stacey! Bring it on!

I think Vienna was definitely the one who was going home last night before Ali's stunt. The footage for her hometown date was VERY short – only had one segment with no commercial between. Jake had nothing bad to say about the other three girls – For Vienna he said he was "scared" :-S
Oh well, I loved Ali and know she will still be there in the end, just like Ed. But of course she calls while they are in St. Lucia… I bet she's gonna tell him she's down in the lobby and is asking if she can come up…Oh Boy, this will be fun!

great episode. i am still routing for tenley despite the little dance. i think from her it was really genuine. she's just kind of a romantic goof ball and for that reason i think she's perfect for jake.
i did not like the pouty way ali handled herself. it was really strange. i thought her actions were making it hard for jake to show just how much he wanted her to stay but he did tell her so it's her own fault for leaving. looks like she'll come back anyway. so who knows!
I'm hoping it was vienna who was in danger but i kind of think it was gia just because he's had the least amount of time with her….

I was bummed Ali left, but Layla, I think Jake made the case for her to stay as clearly as he could. I couldn't believe she said "I love you" and then left!! Huge mistake on her part. But I knew she was going to leave, bc why else would should be crying so hard the whole time?
Vienna's family seemed trashy. Didn't seem like a good night for her.
I DO agree, Layla, that Tenley's divorce issues don't appear to be resolved. She mentioned her ex so often last night. Her mom warned Jake that there would be lots of "emotional spillovers," was it? And I can't believe that was Tenley's last time home since the divorce! Makes it feel very recent. (In general, it always surprises me how these girls love to talk about how important family is — the standard Bachelor line, right? — but seem to visit home very rarely.)
I liked Gia more after meeting her family. I think she is a substantial young woman with some normal insecurities (even though I still kinda flinch and react to the idea of a poor swimsuit model who is SO insecure — gag me). Her brother's hair is pscyho! He looked deranged. Pretty unusual to see this gathering at a restaurant. Did I miss an explanation at the beginning? I always prefer seeing the home. That tells you so much. Like that classic picture of a praying girl behind Tenley's dad. And what was up with all the bright fuschia walls? Behind Tenley, behind Vienna, etc.
Vienna's dad interrupting when she and Jake were smooching was not funny. It was annoying, a clear sign of how immature her life is when it comes to her relationship with him. That's like a teenager moment. Jakes is 30! Come on. Also squirmed when she wiped the tears away from her dad's eyes. That's just…gross.
I don't hate Vienna. I think she's probably a good person. I like the last-minute footage of her admitting she talks too much. In those moments, she can appear very human and likable. But overall, man, I just don't see her with Jake.
I don't think Ali will make another appearance. I think her call to Jake will be more of an apology thing. ABC is baiting us.
Confirming this theory is Jake's blog, where he tells us everything changes in St. Lucia, feelings get real and relationships become "unstoppable." Wow.
And this point, I'm rooting for G. Wouldn't mind our silly, teary Tenley. Not V.

In Jake's blog he says that when he was watching Tenley dance, that was when he "fell in love with her"

NYer here. Ali shall return. The spoilsport blogger is never wrong. Gia probably would have been roseless. But now the lucky dog gets to squeeze in an overnight date w/her after all! It gets no better! So jealous. The dancing was cool. An artistic bent to better appreciate it helps. I'd want Tenley if I was Jake.
