Look who found her sparkle again…
OMG, you Guys. I don’t say that lightly. I just got an email from my friend Anne with a link to a People.com article telling me that Tierra is engaged. WTF, you might ask? If this information is correct (it’s from a WetPaint article), Tierra’s older brother, Tyler, revealed that Tierra was dating someone seriously before the show and they were living together in Las Vegas. They had a bad break-up and she moved back to Denver and signed up for the show. According to Tyler (who would not reveal the name of Tierra’s new fiance), the fiance realized he had lost his sparkle (Tierra) and was determined to get her back. He tried calling her but her phone was turned off (show rules) and then he reached out to Tierra’s family and even contacted ABC to figure out where she was.
As Tyler tells it – the day she got the boot from St. Croix, the fiance was actually on his way there. At the St. Croix airport, Tierra got her phone back, turned it on and got a call from him saying he was on his way there. She said to meet her in Colorado, which he did. That was back in November and they apparently got engaged in January.
The timing of this news is all very suspicious, since it’s revealed after she was basically self-humiliated on this week’s episode. Or maybe she’s not allowed to announce anything until after she’s booted off. Truthfully, I think SHE is not allowed to say anything about her relationship status until the season is done airing (unless it’s via ABC). So her brother did the work for her. CRAZY news!!!
Poor guy. He’s in for a lifetime of drama from Sparkle. Bless his heart.

I don’t buy it. Everything is a little too convenient. And what brother knows all the details/stats about a little sister’s engagement ring??

If this is true…which I question……what is up with people going on this show right after a serious break up…this has happened several times now and I don’t get how that can happen. Can they really think they are over someone they lived (so it’s assumed they loved) with in a couple weeks?
Probably for revenge?
I agree with everyone saying it’s too convenient for her to be “engaged” right now. If you look at her instagram, she first posted a picture of the ring a week ago, before the episode with her leaving the show aired. Not sure how she can do this, but I really do think she’s just doing it for attention. She knows that she will be the main target on the Women Tell All. I mean, she told us in one episode that men love her and in another that she can easily get engaged if she wanted to. I wouldn’t be surprised if this “relationship” somehow didn’t work out after the Women Tell All AND the After The Final Rose airs.
Another blog (won’t mention which one since it has spoilers) did say that sources are saying this engagement is real and there is a name of her fiance out there also. If this is the case, then I feel really sorry for him. Wonder if he’s re-considering his decision after watching his lovely bride-to-be in all her crazy glory on TV every week.
Assuming this story is true, she was with the addicted boyfriend for 5 years, then this one for three to four. That means she’s been steadily with someone–with from very bad to “to be determined” results–since she was 16. And instead of taking some time for herself, she deals with a bad breakup by going on The Bachelor, so she won’t be old and unmarried.
I stand by my prediction that by 32 she’ll be divorced. Maybe twice. And probably much before that. Marriage is not usually a good idea for immature people.
OK I SOOOOO called this in my previous post about sparklebutt’s departure. And I am with Tracy above….she was deeply hurt by the addict boyfriend…he dies (may he rest in peace truly) and then she’s in deep w/another guy within….minutes…..they break up….and she immediately signs up for the Bachelor and Sean keeps her around way too long. Men really do love her – absolutely amazeballs! How are we sane gals supposed to compete

And this just feeds my excitement for next week’s TWO episodes (one is the Sean Tell All on Tuesday) and I can’t wait to see what Tierra will have to say about all of this on the Women Tell All. I guess she won’t be coming back for Sean afterall nor that the handwritten note he receives at the final rose ceremony is from her.
