First Ali Bachelorette Podcast of Season is Up

The season premiere of The Bachelorette is just days away!  Stacey B and The Husband have just posted the first podcast of the new season (which also happens to be their first podcast as a married couple).  Here’s the link where the audio file is posted:

    Grandpa Ryan Max,
    I really enjoyed your podcast.
Last week I was in a restaurant in Turks & Caicos, and sitting at the next table was this woman, who from the back could have been Ali. In fact, the more I kept looking at her, the surer I was that it was her. So, I had to get up, go past her table, turn around and come back to my seat. It was not Ali. I was so disappointed. Not sure what I would have said to her.
I guess the question is, "Why is a grandfather type so into The Bachelor/Bachelorette?"
It is fun though, and reading your synopsis, makes it all the more enjoyable.
Stacey B is there a way that you and The Husband could do a podcast on TV?

Husband – if you go to see a movie at AMC before noon Fri, Sat or Sun it's only $5 (that's when I go). And I SO want one of those zappers. I listen to people all the time. It's so annoying.

Heavenisabookstore – thanks for your posts! We love hearing from you. Your suggestion is noted – unfortunately seeing a movie pre-noon is usually not a possibility. I discovered that offers good discounts on bulk purchases. AAA and Costco also offer discounts on their websites. Gold tix are better because they don't have restrictions, don't expire and don't require a surcharge at Manhattan theaters. For complete movie freaks, AMC offers a bulk package – minimum of 50 tix required, but the prices is about $7.50 per ticket. They don't expire and now that movie tix are $13 in Manhattan, this may not be a bad deal unless AMC goes out of business.

I just checked out head shots of Ali's 25 guys on ABC's website. I have NEVER seen such an unattractive bunch of guys on The Bachelorette! So bummed…

P.S. And once again the 25 are lily white…the closest they got to ethnic diversity was a dude who looked like one of his grandparents may be Mexican. I can't believe ABC can get away with this season after season!
